everything android : LG Marquee (Sprint) hardware and software tour

LG Marquee (Sprint) hardware and software tour
MobileBurn.com - The LG Marquee for Sprint is the US version of the Optimus Black that was released for global markets earlier this year. Though the Marquee has the same basic hardware as the Black, its software is much different. Instead of running Android 2.2 Froyo with LG's custom user interface as found on the Black, the Marquee features Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread with Sprint's ID system. Out of the box, the phone offers a very stock Gingerbread experience, with little to no customization by LG. The Marquee features the same 1GHz single-core processor and 512MB of RAM as the Black, so performance is fairly snappy. The phone's claim to fame is its 4-inch, NOVA display that features a 700 nit brightness rating. One of the brightest smartphone displays on the market, the Marquee's screen can be easily seen outdoors in direct sunlight. The Marquee also has a 5 megapixel rear camera with 720p HD video capture, and a 2 megapixel front camera. It is available from Sprint now for $99.99 with a new two-year contract.
