MobileBurn.com - The Pantech Breakout is the first 4G LTE phone to be released by Korean manufacturer Pantech. It is also the first LTE smartphone to be released by Verizon Wireless that costs less than $250 on-contract. Don't let its low cost fool you, though, as the Breakout has a number of impressive specifications. It features a 4-inch, WVGA resolution display and a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. There is a 5 megapixel camera on the back and a front-facing VGA camera. The rear camera lacks a flash, but it does feature 720p HD video recording. The Breakout runs Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread and offers a custom interface that was designed by Pantech. The Breakout is available from Verizon Wireless now for $99.99 with a new two-year agreement.
