Google+ for Android feature demonstration
MobileBurn.com - We managed to snag an invite to Google's new social network, Google+, and promptly downloaded the Google+ for Android app. It is a very familiar looking app if you have used a social network before, as it is very similar to Facebook. The app is clean and very fast though, and offers cool features like automatic photo uploading. We had trouble with the notifications (read: they didn't work at all), and of course, Google+ is a bit lonely at the moment since many users cannot access it. Either way, it shows promise and we look forward to Google's promised improvements in the future. The Google+ app is available for Android phones now, and is expected to hit iOS once it passes Apple's approval process. More info: mobileburn.com

LG Thrill 4G (AT&T;) 3D-capable smartphone hands-on
MobileBurn.com - We got some hands on time with the upcoming LG Thrill 4G for AT&T; and were quite impressed with what we saw. The Thrill 4G is based on the LG Optimus 3D, and is the first 3D-capable smartphone for AT&T.; The 3D effect works quite well, and is much easier to get used to than what is offered by the HTC EVO 3D for Sprint. The Thrill 4G is powered by a very fast, dual-core 1GHz processor that takes advantage of dual-channel memory for increased processing speed. In the real world, that translates into fast performance that is very smooth without any noticeable hiccups. The Thrill 4G hardware feels really good in the hand, too, as the back is covered with a nice soft-touch plastic. More info: www.mobileburn.com
